Short, illustrated descriptions of how to build objects quickly, usually using very few prims. Saving prim count was important to me when I had one little 512 plot, and it remained important when I started doing full island builds.

Comments on and descriptions of various tools I use for building. While I do have a very large number of building tools, I definitely do not have everything available in SL and likely never will. What you will find here is commentary on my favorite tools and once in a while, some tips or tricks to take you beyond the basic documentation from the creator. If the tool is free, I will tell you where to get it. On rare occasions, when a tool really annoys me, you will hear about that too.

Discussion of various gadgets that I use and like in Second Life. I generally won’t be writing “how to use it” articles because these products are usually well documented by their creators. In a few instances I will compare products and explain why I think one or the other might be better.

There are excellent tutorials on creating textures by Robin (Sojourner) Woods at her site inworld as well as on her website. I don’t try to reinvent that wheel here. Instead I will try to provide some tips and tricks to help you use textures better.
